RUMFORD – Selectmen at Thursday night’s meeting will discuss state recommendations to improve Rumford’s intersections and crosswalks.
Other business on the April 16 agenda includes:
• Determining where to install a video display terminal for a new Social Security pilot program.
• Getting an update on financial reports – budget versus actual and excise tax.
• Approving a crosswalk on Route 2 near a softball field.
• Approving a federal law enforcement grant.
Under routine business, approval is sought for a taxi cab license for Joseph Downs, who is doing business as Road Hog Express. An executive session is scheduled for the 7 p.m. meeting in the municipal building to discuss an economic development matter with the town manager and businessmen.
