MEXICO – Three car burglaries were reported to the Mexico Police Department on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Sgt. Roy Hodsdon has suspects and believes the three incidents are related.

Between 10 p.m. Nov. 18 and 3 a.m. Nov. 19, someone stole a wallet containing credit cards from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a Whitman Street resident. Also, a GPS device, valued at $400, was taken from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a Pine Street home, and a cell phone from another parked vehicle, also on Pine Street.

Hodsdon said all three vehicles were left unlocked. He cautioned people to lock their vehicles.

Theft

A laptop computer, valued at $1,400, and a computer tower, valued at $500, were taken from the new computer lab at the Region 9 School of Applied Technology between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. Nov. 18. Police have suspects.

Recoveries

A three-wheeled all-terrain vehicle, stolen from a Roxbury Road resident on Nov. 1, and a four-wheeled all-terrain vehicle, stolen from a Backkingdom Road resident on Oct. 4, were found on Spruce Street in Rumford on Nov. 13.

Police have suspects.
