RUMFORD – On Thursday, Oct. 21, a spaghetti and meatball dinner will be served at the Eagles Hall in honor of Pete and Jeanie Duguay. Pete, who has owned and operated the Deluxe Diner, recently was been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which is also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Tickets for the dinner will be $5 per person. Dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. During the dinner there will be a door-prize raffle, a Chinese auction and a 50-50 raffle. Tickets may be purchased at Mexico One Stop, Maddy’s Pizza, Rumford Hannaford and various other locations throughout the Rumford, Mexico and Dixfield area or by calling Tami Roy at 369-8005.
