• July 10, 10:25 p.m. – A young male, who was reported to be sleeping on the paved entry of an apartment complex on North Street, was issued a warning for obstructing a public way before he moved on.

• July 10, 11:30 a.m. – A Main Street resident, observed yelling and disturbing the neighborhood, was issued a warning for disorderly conduct.

• July 9, 10 p.m. – Christopher L. Walker, 25, of Farmington Falls, was arrested on Franklin County warrants, at 10 p.m. on Averill Road. He was also summoned for furnishing marijuana after an officer stopped the vehicle he was riding in on suspicion of illegal attachment of registration plates.

The driver, Nathan A. Porter, 19, also of Farmington Falls, was summoned for furnishing marijuana, illegal transportation of alcohol by a minor and illegal transportation of drugs by a minor.

Both men are to appear in Rumford District Court for arraignment in October.

• July 8, 2:35 p.m. – A Third Street resident reported harassment by a former spouse. The domestic complaint is being investigated.

• July 8 – A Highland Avenue resident reported that a substantial amount of cash had been stolen by a family member. It remains under investigation.

• July 6, 11:45 a.m. – A Webb River Drive resident reported that her residence had been burglarized, and that one of the occupants of the residence had been assaulted during the previous night. The case remains open.

• July 6, 3:25 a.m. – Several young people were reportedly causing a disturbance on Weld Street. One was located and issued warnings for disorderly conduct and drinking in public.

• July 4, 6 a.m. – A Weld Street resident reported that his vehicle had been stolen during the night, sometime after 11:30 p.m. officer Jeffrey Howe recovered the vehicle later in the day. The case remains under investigation.

• July 4, 1:20 a.m. – A loud party was observed on Webb River Drive. Following an investigation, officer Mark Dow ended the party when he “found that there were minors in attendance, and there was a lot of alcohol, as well.”

A 17-year-old boy was charged with possession of liquor by a juvenile and later released to his mother. Additional charges are expected to be forthcoming.

Arrests

• Bryan Williams, 42, of Lacrosse, Wisc., on warrants, violation of a protection from abuse order, and operating under the influence, at 10:35 p.m. on Taylor Road. He was transported to Oxford County jail in Paris.

• Patrick Harkness, 34, of Dixfield, on a charge of assault as the result of a domestic incident, at 2:15 p.m. on July 5.

Summons:

• Shealee Barker, 20, of Jay, on charges of illegal transportation of liquor by a minor and illegal transportation of drugs by a minor, at 10:30 a.m. on Weld Street. A quantity of alcohol and “some marijuana” were confiscated. Barker is to be arraigned in Rumford District Court in September.

• A 17-year-old Mechanic Falls boy, on charges of failing to stop at a red light and for operating with passengers less than 19 years of age not in the passenger compartment of a pickup.
