• July 1: While responding to a domestic violence complaint at an Oxford Avenue residence, officers found six growing marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia in plain sight. Summonses for cultivating marijuana are expected to be filed on completion of the investigation.
• June 29, 12:35 p.m.: A Rumford business on Route 2 reported that a burglary had occurred sometime during the night and alcohol was taken.
Arrests
• Frank A. Smith Jr., 40, of Bangor, on a charge of disorderly conduct and a probation hold, on July 2. He was taken to Oxford County jail in Paris.
• David C. Boynton, 42, of Rumford, on a charge of domestic assault, on July 1. He was released on $200 unsecured bail.
• Ervin E. Rose, 24, of Roxbury, on a warrant on two counts of probation revocation stemming from a felony conviction of eluding an officer in 2002, on June 30. He was taken to Oxford County jail.
• Mary Hubbard, 44, of Dixfield, on a charge of violating a protective order, on June 30. She was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.
• Jason D. Cole, 23, of Rumford, on charges of domestic assault and violation of conditions of release, on June 29. He was taken to Oxford County jail.
• Leslie A. Miller, 39, of Rumford, on a Kennebec County warrant, a Waldo County warrant for failure to pay fines on two charges of harassment by telephone, and an Oxford County warrant for failure to pay fine on a charge of disorderly conduct, on June 29. She was taken to Oxford County jail.
• Jodi Anson, 28, of Rumford, on a warrant for unpaid fines on a charge of criminal mischief, on June 29.
• Jason D. Cole, 23, of Rumford, on a charge of disorderly conduct, on June 29.
• A 15-year-old Rumford boy, on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, on June 28.
• Shawn D. Hodge, 24, of Mexico, on York County warrants, on June 27. He was taken to Oxford County jail.
