BUCKFIELD — Performance artist Rick Adam and actor Bob Colonna will bring “A Family Celebration of Holiday Songs, Stories, and Silly Stuff! ” to the Oddfellow Theater on Saturday, Dec. 5. It’s a mini-variety show with clowning, storytelling, circus arts, sing-alongs and shadow mime.

Also featured is “Mikey and the Christmas Garbage Truck,” an original tale written by Adam and Colonna, that tells the story of a poor boy whose Uncle Charlie, a kindhearted garbage man, understands the spirit of Christmas so well that he even impresses Santa Claus.

Colonna, a veteran professional actor skilled in character voices and colorful storytelling, will narrate, aided by Adam’s original guitar score and his pantomime and shadow skills. Reindeer will fly, blizzards will blow and young Mikey will go on a Christmas adventure, learning a secret about loving and giving that will last him all his life.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and younger. They will be available at the door or call 336-3306.
