Sabattus seniors

SABATTUS — The Sabattus Seniors will have a Christmas Party on Thursday, Dec. 3, at the C & J Hall. There will be live entertainment in the morning by Andy Nesbitt, followed by a meal of prime rib and baked ham with all the fixings. There will be a short meeting and members will play a few games of bingo and pass the buck. To sign up, call Doris at 784-7950.

Adoption meeting

LEWISTON – The Lewiston office of the Department of Health and Human Services will host a public informational meeting about adoption and foster care from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 1, for all those interested. For location and to participate, contact A Family For ME at 1-877-505-0545.

Those considering adoption or foster care through the Maine Department of Health and Human Services are encouraged to attend.

NEW GLOUCESTER — The New Gloucester History Barn will be open from 3
to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29 and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 5. On
display are photos of New Gloucester town life and four antique
carriages – an early pung, a mail wagon, a sleigh and the 1909 town
hearse. Admission is free.

Class of 2004

AUBURN —  The Lewiston High School Class of 2004 will have its fifth-year reunion from 9 to 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at Gipper’s Sports Grill. Information can found on the Facebook group page “Lewiston High School Class of 2004 – Five Year Reunion.”

Bridge results

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Nov. 23 were as follows: first, Lue Bilodeau and Luke Merry; second, Cynthia and Bill Clifford; third, Ellie and George Wigton; fourth, Dick Allen and Pete Cummings.

The winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Nov. 24 were: first, Sherrie Hinckley and Luke Merry; second, Neenie Kivus and Fred Letourneau; third, Marta Clements and Claire Lyons.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Schooner Estates. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in the area.
