FARMINGTON – Police arrested a Farmington man after a joint agency search of the man’s Maple Avenue home Thursday.

Scott Labbe, 39, was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release when law enforcement officers found marijuana, prescription painkillers and drug paraphernalia at his residence. Also seized was $1,900 in cash.

Maine Drug Enforcement agents, Farmington police and Franklin County sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant after an investigation of about two months, according to Detective Niles Yeaton of the Franklin County sheriff’s office.

Labbe was arraigned Monday in Oxford County Superior Court on two charges of trafficking Schedule W drugs and one count of trafficking marijuana, according to Andrew Robinson of the Franklin County district attorney’s office. Labbe was taken to Oxford County because no judge was available in Franklin County on Monday.

Labbe had been free on bail for a pending assault charge in Wilton. A court date of Feb. 23 was set.
