DOVER, N.H. (AP) – Two women have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 36-year-old Dover woman early Tuesday.

Officials say Lauralee Perkins was killed in her apartment around 4:24 a.m. Police responded to the home after a neighbor reported hearing a gunshot. An autopsy was planned for today.

Heather Stone, 35, of Dover, who lived at the same address as Perkins, was arrested on two alternate charges of second-degree murder. Stone has been charged with knowingly causing Perkins’s death, and alternatively, with recklessly causing Perkins’s death with extreme indifference to the value of human life.

Joyce Zilinek, 47, of Lynnfield, Mass., has been arrested on one count of falsifying physical evidence in connection with evidence of the homicide, the Attorney General’s office said.

Stone and Zilinek are expected to be arraigned on Wednesday at Dover District Court.
