CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – Gov. John Lynch leads a team of state officials to Berlin on Thursday to meet with local officials and workers who are about to lose their pulp mill jobs.
Lynch says the state will do everything it can to help the employees, their families and communities that depend on the Fraser pulp mill. The mill is closing, putting about 250 workers out of jobs.
The governor plans to meet with workers at the mill and with officials, social service agency representatives and economic leaders later at City Hall.
