HOOKSETT, N.H. (AP) – A pricey puppy has been stolen from a pet store.

Police said someone snatched the $1,300 Pomeranian from the Family Pet store sometime Saturday afternoon.

The dog has a microchip embedded in its skin that will allow any dog groomer or veterinarian who sees it to identify it. Police said they have no suspects yet.
