DUNSTABLE, Mass. (AP) – A New Hampshire man was hospitalized Wednesday after a police chase following a series of reported burglaries in a Massachusetts town.

Police said Donald Hines, 47, of Concord, N.H., was accused of stealing a car in Merrimack, N.H., and breaking into several homes in Dunstable.

Dunstable police received a 911 call reporting a break-in at about 10 a.m. Police said that call was followed by three more calls, and one homeowner was able to provide a description.

An officer spotted a car and driver matching the description and gave chase.

Police said that Hines was driving the car and crashed in the center of the town.

Hines suffered minor injuries and was taken to Lowell General Hospital. Police said that if he is released soon, he will be arraigned on several charges, including seven felonies.
