A vehicle sloshes through the parking lot of CVS near the entrance on East Avenue in Lewiston on Wednesday afternoon. A water main broke, caving in a portion of the road and spewing water that cascaded down the street then pooled in the middle of Lisbon Street at the entrance of the Promenade Mall. Police closed the busy intersection for part of the afternoon and repairs were expected to continue into Thursday morning.
