LEWISTON – Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s office at 15 Strawberry Ave. will be a conference site on Saturday, Nov. 22, for a video presentation in recognition of National Survivors of Suicide Day, sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

In its 10th year, the goal of National Survivors of Suicide Day is to connect survivors with others who have experienced this tragedy and to provide support, healing and information.

The conference will feature remarks by a panel of suicide survivors and health care and mental health professionals. It will offer emotional support and information about resources for healing.

There is no cost to participate. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. with the national video panel starting promptly at 1 p.m. A short discussion with local providers will follow, and if participants wish, support sessions will be held following the discussion period.

For more information or to register, contact Dennis Sicotte, AHCH bereavement coordinator, at 777-7740, extension 1460.
