LISBON – Two seats on the Budget Advisory Board, one at-large and one in Ward II, were filled by write-in votes Tuesday, while the Ward I seat ended in a tie.

Jeff Ganong won the at-large three-year seat with 18 write-in votes edging out John Wierzbicki, who got 14.

Steven Miles won the two-year seat in Ward II with four write-ins.

In Ward I, Wierzbicki and Herbert “Pete” Reed each received three write-in votes for that two-year spot.

However Reed indicated to Town Clerk Twila Lycette on Wednesday that he plans to come to her office to sign the necessary papers to formally withdraw, paving the way for Wierzbicki to be seated.
