LEWISTON – Two weeks after a break-in at a Park Street restaurant, police are hoping footage from a surveillance camera will help lead them to a suspect.

No money was taken in the Sept. 18 break-in at Chopsticks, but police said the culprit entered the business through a smashed window and damaged a cash register in a search for cash.

Footage taken with the surveillance camera shows the suspect wearing a hooded jacket preparing to enter Chopsticks from an alley between Park and Lisbon streets. The man’s face is clearly visible but he has not been identified.

Police ask that anyone with information about the suspect or the break-in call Detective Trevor Campbell at 513-3001, ext. 3320.
