LEWISTON – A motorcyclist suffered a broken leg Saturday in a crash on Sabattus Street, police said.
Timmy Bellmore, 32, of Old Lisbon Road was transported by ambulance to Central Maine Medical Center. His condition was not available Saturday night.
Bellmore was traveling east on Sabattus Street on his 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which collided with a 1996 Chevrolet driven westbound by Robert Walker, 88, of Monmouth shortly before noon, said police Lt. James Minkowsky.
Walker was turning left across traffic into the parking lot of Friendly’s Restaurant. Speed was a contributing factor, Minkowsky said.
Walker was not injured, he said.
