Criminal Mischief
The top level of the parking garage at CMMC, 300 Main St., was vandalized, along with a security camera. This occurred overnight Aug. 29-30.
A garage at 31 Union St. had a window broken out of it overnight Aug. 30-31.
A vehicle parked the Lewiston Housing Authority at 1 College St. had a tire slashed overnight Aug. 28-29.
A vehicle parked at D’Youville Pavillion at 102 Campus Ave. had its rear tire slashed overnight Aug. 29-30.
A vehicle parked at 571 Sabattus St. was damaged by numerous rocks that were thrown at it prior to 5 p.m. on Aug. 31.
A truck parked at Commercial Installation at 680 Lisbon St. was tagged with graffiti over the weekend Aug. 29-Sept. 1.
A vehicle parked at 37 Spruce St. was keyed on Aug. 31 at 2 p.m.
The top level of the Centreville Garage at 62 Canal St. was tagged with large amounts of graffiti over the weekend Aug. 30-Sept. 1.
The Hall & Knight building at 3 Middle St., as well as a truck, were tagged with graffiti over the weekend Aug. 29-Sept. 1.
A truck parked at Northeast Athletics at 10 Westminster St. was tagged with graffiti, scratched, had the fuel line cut, and had the front license plate stolen from it sometime overnight Sept. 1-2.
A vehicle parked at 358 Pleasant St. had a rear window broken out sometime after 9 p.m. on Sept. 1.
The Creative Glass building at 25 Middle St. was tagged with graffiti overnight Sept. 1-2.
A window at 127 Horton St. was broken out by a rock overnight Sept. 1-2.
Thefts
A customer of the Dollar Tree at 1035 Lisbon St. had their wallet stolen from their shopping cart on Aug. 29 at 1 p.m.
A Mongoose Regal white and brown 20-inch bike was stolen from Martel School between 8 a.m. and noon on Sept. 29.
Two radiators and a transmission were stolen from 35 Adams Ave. between Aug. 30-31.
Burglaries
An apartment at 106 Summer St. was burglarized prior to 4 p.m. on Aug. 26; entry was gained by breaking a plexiglass window. A large container full of change was emptied into a garbage can and stolen.
An apartment at 24 Leeds St. was burglarized prior to 7 p.m. on Aug. 27; the suspect trashed the inside of the apartment.
An apartment at 128 Blake St. was burglarized on Aug. 27 between 11:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Entry was gained through a rear bedroom window, an Acer laptop and 6 silver dollars were stolen from inside.
Officers responded to Pine Tree Trading on Aug. 27 at 10:42 p.m. for an activated intrusion alarm. Upon arrival, they discovered that someone had smashed in the front entrance glass and has stolen 14 handguns. Witnesses in the area report seeing a tall and very skinny black male fleeing the scene on foot carrying a black duffle bag. The suspect fled down Park Street and onto Adams Avenue while being pursued by a citizen.
Twins Variety at 235 Lisbon St. had four bars cut off from a rear window during an attempted burglary on Aug. 31 at 11:30 a.m. The suspect appeared to use bolt cutters to remove the bars and entered into the basement of the store prior to setting off a motion alarm and fleeing the scene. No property was taken.
A shed at 18 Nomar Ct. was burglarized prior to 6 p.m. on Sept. 2.
Motor Vehicle Burglaries
A vehicle parked at the LL Bean garage at 26 Chapel St. was burglarized prior to 9 p.m. on Aug. 29. The car was unlocked, cash was taken from inside.
A vehicle parked at 40 Gina St. was burglarized overnight Aug. 30-31, a satellite radio was taken.
A vehicle parked at 52 Highland Ave. was burglarized overnight Aug. 29-30, a CD player and CDs were taken.
Operating Under the Influence Arrests
Michael Mitchell, 33, was charged with operating under the influence on Aug. 31 at 1:14 a.m. at Lisbon and Pine streets following a routine traffic stop.
Katie Whittaker, 20, was charged with operating under the influence on Aug. 31 at 1:40 a.m. at Lisbon and Chestnut streets following a routine traffic stop.
Steven Hall, 51, was charged with operating under the influence, operating after suspension and operating without a license on Sept. 1 at 1:19 a.m. at Birch and Blake streets following a routine traffic stop.
Victoria Forbis, 43, was charged with operating under the influence on Sept. 1 at 2:49 a.m. at Walnut and Pine streets following a routine traffic stop.
Kenneth Hull, 48, was charged with operating under the influence, operating while license suspended and theft on Sept. 2 at 12:43 p.m. at Hannaford on Sabattus Street Officers responded there for a report of a shoplifter.
Lonnie Richardson, 51, was charged with operating under the influence on Sept. 3 at 1:16 a.m. at 30 Lisbon St. following a routine traffic stop.
Operating After Suspension Arrest
Barron Tibbetts, 29, was charged with operating while license suspended on Aug. 29 at 7:24 p.m. at 37 Union St. following a routine traffic stop.
Tyrell Teague, 33, was charged with operating while license suspended on Sept. 1 at 12:43 a.m. at 33 Sabattus St. following a routine traffic stop.
Billy-Jack Gagnon, 33, was charged with operating after habitual offender status on Sept. 31 at 12:45 a.m. at 2017 Lisbon St. following a routine traffic stop.
