Criminal Mischief
An apartment at 34 College St. had a window busted out by a rock on Aug. 15 at 12:27 a.m.
A vehicle parked at 133 Sabattus St. had its tires slashed overnight Aug. 13-14.
A vehicle parked at 527 Main St. had its rearview mirror smashed out overnight Aug. 14-15.
A vehicle parked at 17 Elliot Ave. had its tires slashed overnight Aug. 13-14.
A window was broken out of the Longley School between 8 p.m. on AUg. 10 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 11.
Someone put fecal matter in a mailbox at 7 Enterprise St. sometime between Aug. 9-11.
Sometime overnight Aug. 8-9 a residence at Sunset Gardens Trailer Park had lawn ornaments damaged.
A window to an apartment at 138 Bartlett St. was shot out by a BB on Aug. 14 at 1 a.m.
The Chamber of Commerce at 415 Lisbon St. had a window shot out by BBs over the weekend Aug. 8-11.
A vehicle parked at the Southern Gateway garage had a rear window smashed out of it overnight Aug. 8-9.
A vehicle parked in the Canal St. lot had both of it driver’s side windows smashed out of it overnight Aug. 8-9.
A vehicle parked at Lisbon and Canal streets had its passenger side window broken out of it prior to 9:56 p.m. on Aug. 8.
Stop signs and control boxes are being tagged with “187” in thick permanent marker.
Thefts
A customer of the Big Apple on Main Street had their wallet stolen on Aug. 14 at 5 p.m. after they dropped it without realizing it.
A green bicycle that was broken was stolen from the porch at 56 Blake St. overnight Aug. 12-13.
Gasoline was siphoned out of a Black Foot Awning work truck which was parked at 50 Whipple St. between 5 p.m. on Aug. 10 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 11.
A blue LL Bean Mountain bike was stolen from 40 Gina St. overnight Aug. 11-12.
A children’s bicycle was stolen from 5-3 Hillview prior to 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 12.
A stainless steel propane grill was stolen from the parking lot of The Vineyard at 9 Foss Road sometime in the past two weeks.
A black and grey 26″ Murray bicycle was stolen from Northeast Athletics overnight Aug. 12-13.
Two plates – ME REG 9574PW were stolen from a vehicle parked at 54 Knox St. overnight Aug. 9-10.
A metal cat lawn ornament was stolen from the common hallway of 25 Pine St. on Aug. 11.
Robbery
A pedestrian walking in Kennedy Park was approached by an Hispanic male who pulled a knife on him and demanded his wallet on Aug. 8 at 10:26 p.m. The suspect was 19-25 years old with dark short hair, wearing a red shirt and dark shorts.
Burglaries
An apartment at 139 Oak St. was burglarized overnight Aug. 13-14; nothing appears to have been taken, but it does appear that someone slept there.
An apartment at 56 Wood St. had damage done to an entry door in an apparent attempt at a burglary that occurred prior to 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 8.
A residence at 74 Rachel Blvd. was burglarized between Aug. 10-12; prescription meds were stolen.
The building at 100 Pine St. was burglarized overnight Aug. 11-12. Entry was gained by breaking a window of an entry door, some food was stolen from inside.
An apartment at 165 Bates St. has recently had someone make entry into it via the rear door. Nothing was taken from inside, but the door was left unlocked after the suspect left.
An apartment at 191 Lincoln St. was burglarized between 7 and 10:25 p.m. on Aug. 11, the entry door was kicked in and the suspect stole tattooing equipment.
Officers responded to the Triangle Service Station at 61 Lincoln St. on Aug. 10 at 11:21 p.m. for an alarm. Upon arrival, they discovered damage consistent with an attempted burglary.
Motor Vehicle Burglaries
A vehicle parked at 57 Tall Pines Drive was burglarized overnight Aug. 8-9; a Sony walkman was stolen.
A vehicle parked on the Old Bloody Hill Road near a trail into Thorncraig was burglarized on Aug. 8. The vehicle was unlocked, a wallet and cell phone were taken.
A vehicle parked at Champion Glass had a padlock cut off the rear doors and an orange Impulse nail gun taken from inside.
Aggravated Assaults
Officers responded to 87 Bartlett St. on Aug. 12 at 11:41 p.m. for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a stab wound to his lower abdomen. He reports that he was walking down the street when he observed a fistfight that he tried to break up. One of the suspects in the fight stabbed him and both subjects fled.
Officers responded to the area of Pine and Pierce streets on Aug. 14 at 11:35 p.m. for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the chest. Witnesses describe a tall, white 16 year old female as the suspect. She had fled the scene prior to officer arrival and the victim was uncooperative with police.
Operating Under the Influence Arrests
Ashley Gilbert, 25, was charged with operating under the influence on Aug. 13 at 12:55 a.m. at 345 Main St. following a routine traffic stop.
Operating After Suspension Arrest
Christopher Rainville, 22, was charged with operating after habitual offender status on Aug. 13 at 4:08 p.m. at Lisbon Street and Sand Hill Road following a routine traffic stop.
Paul Jenkins, 26, was charged with operating while license suspended and failing to notify of a motor vehicle accident on Aug. 14 at 7:20 a.m. at 124 Holland St.
