The throne of U.S. power has again summoned a trio of jugglers from Buckfield.
Michael Miclon and brothers Jason and Matthew Tardy – known collectively as Fusion – are scheduled to appear Monday at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll.
“I guess we did something right for them to ask us back three years in a row,” Jason Tardy said. “I can’t wait to see who we will meet this year.”
At past celebrations, they met teen idol Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Sesame Street’s Elmo and Mr. McFeely from “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.”
Of course, the people in the D.C. neighborhood are a little different.
In 2006, the TV show “Inside Edition” gave the guys national exposure over the White House’s request that they leave their “props of doom” at home.
They complied, discarding their knives, torches, ax and mace before the show at the president’s home.
The annual Easter Egg Roll draws thousands of children to the South Lawn. This year’s event is expected to include Mickey Mouse, Tweety Bird and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman.

Citizens ‘have to show up’ to change outcome
When the Auburn City Council meets, it could have a larger audience asking for more money for schools.
At the March 19 Auburn School Committee meeting, a standing-room-only crowd of parents and teachers spoke emotionally against proposed cuts.
One of them was former City Councilor Ellen Peters. With her voice raised, she encouraged parents and teachers to deliver their message to the council.
Last year, only two parents came to the council in favor of school funding, Peters said.
“Imagine what would happen if all these people here showed up at the City Council meetings for the next two months!” Peters said. “We can make a difference people! We can do it, but we have to show up!”
The audience broke into applause.
