Between 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, and 7 a.m. Monday, March 17, this department responded to 500 calls for service; 92 were motor vehicle stops.

Criminal mischief
Sometime between 8 and 9:45 p.m. on March 12, a vehicle parked at 12 Weybosset St. had all four of its tires punctured.
The parking gate at the Oak Street Parking Garage had its gate broken off overnight, March 15 or March 16.
Motor vehicle burglary arrests
Lawrence Cabezal, 34, was arrested for burglary of a motor vehicle and theft at 10:55 a.m. on March 16. Officers responded to Plante Street and Arkwright Avenue for a report of a male who was seen fishing through a woman’s purse. Officers were able to locate the suspect as well as two vehicles which had been burglarized.
Burglaries
An apartment at 25 Pine St. had damage done to the door jamb after someone attempted to force the lock. There was also a piece of plastic broken off between the door and the jamb from an attempt at carding the lock. This occurred sometime prior to 6 p.m. on March 12.
A residence at 20 Vine St. was broken into overnight, March 15 or 16. Entry was gained by forcing a door; power tools were stolen from inside.
Aggravated assault
At 8 p.m. on March 14, a pedestrian was shot in the eye by a CO2 pellet gun. This occurred while he was walking in the vicinity of Luiggi’s on Sabattus Street. The victim was treated for minor injuries; he did not see where the shot was fired from.
Drug trafficking arrest
Jovan Calhoun, 24, was arrested for aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release at 6:30 p.m. on March 13 at Pleasant/O’Connell following a routine traffic stop. A search of the vehicle revealed 10G of individually wrapped rocks of crack.
Operating under the influence arrests
Christopher Curtis, 35, was arrested for operating under the influence at 5:04 p.m. on March 12 at Jefferson and Walnut streets following a routine traffic stop.
Dana Perron, 24, was arrested for operating under the influence at 1:56 a.m. on March 14 at Grove and Sabattus streets following a routine traffic stop.
Jean Beaulieu, 37, was arrested for domestic assault, violating conditions of release, operating after suspension, and operating under the influence at 12:27 a.m. on March 15. Officers stopped the vehicle after witnessing a physical altercation between the occupants while the vehicle was stopped at a red light on Pine Street.
Joseph Beaulieu, 37, was arrested for operating under the influence and refusing to sign a summons at 11:02 p.m. on March 15 at the Chalet Motel following a routine traffic stop.
Operating after suspension arrests
Patrick Herrick, 58, was arrested for operating after suspension and attaching false plates at 5:40 p.m. on March 12 at Lisbon Street and North Lisbon Road following a routine traffic stop.
Lucas Foster, 26, was arrested for operating while license suspended at 1:04 p.m. on March 14 at 199 Bartlett St. following a routine traffic stop.
Steven Dennis, 43, was arrested for operating while license suspended at 11:44 p.m. on March 15 at Ash and Bartlett streets following a routine traffic stop.
