Thefts
A blue children’s BMX bicycle was stolen from the common area of 27 Spruce St. prior to Jan. 1 at 6:36 p.m.
A silver Mongoose bicycle with yellow forks was stolen from Chase Hall at 56 Campus Ave. overnight Jan. 6-7.
Burglaries
An apartment at 191 Lincoln St. was burglarized between 6 p.m. on Dec. 31 and 3:15 a.m. on Jan. 1. Forced entry was made through a door. Two firearms were stolen from inside. Two suspects have been identified, both of whom are facing charges of burglary. Both guns have been recovered.
A resident of 15 Montello St. was awakened on Jan. 2 at 1:43 a.m. by his dog barking. When he woke, he found his kitchen window open along with fresh footprints beneath it. No property was taken from inside.
A vacant home on Old Webster Road was burglarized and stripped of copper pipe from the basement on several occasions in the past week.
A residence at 12 Bardwell St. was burglarized sometime between Dec. 22 and Jan. 2. Forced entry was made through a rear door. A 35 MM camera and a portable stereo were taken from inside.
A residence at 46 Sleeper Road was burglarized between 9:55-11:20 a.m. on Jan. 3. Entry was made through an unlocked door. Cash was stolen from inside.
An apartment at 28 Nichols St. was burglarized between 2-2:30 p.m. on Jan. 4. Cash was taken from inside.
Fastbreaks restaurant at 1485 Lisbon St. was burglarized on Jan. 6 at 2:50 a.m. The suspect smashed a window and stole cash from the office.
Criminal Mischief
A mailbox inside the hallway of 172 Bates St. was broken open overnight Jan. 1-2.
An entry door to an apartment at 42 Walnut St. was kicked open overnight Jan. 2-3, no entry was gained and nothing was taken from inside.
Operating After Suspension Arrests
Raphael Taylor, 39, was charged with operating while license suspended and failure to give correct name on Jan. 3 at 3:49 p.m. at Pleasant Street and East Avenue following a routine traffic stop.
Kris Tracy, 46, was charged with operating while license suspended and violating conditions of release on Jan. 4 at 3:57 p.m. at Montello and Fair streets following a routine traffic stop.
Anwar Sufi, 25, was charged with operating while license suspended on Jan. 5 at 1:55 a.m. at College and Union streets following a routine traffic stop.
Tina Bonowitz, 41, was charged with operating while license suspended on Jan. 6 at 2:30 a.m. at Pleasant Street and Acadia Avenue following a routine traffic stop.
Alison Hutchisen, 19, was charged with opearating while license suspended on Jan. 7 at 12:46 a.m. at Biron and Simard avenues following a routine traffic stop.
Operating Under the Influence Arrests
Andrea Lebel, 35, was charged with operating under the influence on Dec. 30 at 5:56 p.m. at 301 Ferry Road. Officers responded for a single-vehicle accident vs. a utility pole.
