Lois and Walter Ames Sr.

LISBON FALLS — Walter and Lois (Harmon) Ames Sr. of Lisbon Falls recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. They were wed on Dec. 24, 1959, in Bowdoin.

They have six children, Vickie, Virginia (Ginny), Rick, Walter Jr., Timothy and Terri. They also have several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A surprise celebration was held at the Slovak Club in Lisbon Falls. Many, many family and friends were in attendance for the occasion. A video of the couple’s life together as well as of their family and friends was displayed throughout the evening for all to enjoy.
