WILTON — Four Franklin County teenagers face charges related to a break-in at the former Primary School on School Street, and spraying fire extinguishers inside.
Two 15-year-old boys from Industry and Wilton, a 16-year-old boy from Industry and a 17-year-old Wilton girl were each issued a summons on charges of burglary and criminal mischief, Wilton police Chief Dennis Brown said Thursday.
There were reports of three boys and a girl lingering around the town-owned building Monday, and police officers Nate Reid and Detective Richard Billian Jr. responded and found them inside, Brown said. Entry was gained by breaking door glass and opening the door from the inside, he said. Inside, several fire extinguishers were discharged, Brown said.
