When Audrey Lapointe came from Vermont to visit relatives, she could not have predicted what was in store for her and her family. After a bout of the stomach flu traveled through her family, she had to wake up and dig out her car – and three others – in her relatives’ driveway on Whitney Street in Auburn before they could head home.
