LEWISTON – L/A Trails will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in Room G-52 of the Pettingill Building at Bates College.

Lester Kenway, a field-team program coordinator with the Maine Conservation Corps, will present a slide show about design, layout, construction and maintenance of trails. The workshop hosted by L/A Trails is for all people interested in learning more about trail building and maintenance.

L/A Trails is a nonprofit community organization, which helps create and advocate for trails throughout the Twin Cities. The group hopes to transform the quality of life locally by developing the most comprehensive, accessible and well-used trail system of any Maine community, according to a spokesman.
