AUBURN – Multiple public safety crews responded to a car crash on Jackson Hill Road shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday.
Auburn police, two Auburn fire engines, the city’s rescue truck and at least one ambulance were called to the scene.
Preliminary reports indicated several people may have been injured.
Firefighters responding to the crash were carrying equipment that would assist in extricating victims from a smashed vehicle.
A single car was believed to have gone off the road and slammed into a tree.
Jackson Hill is a rural, narrow and winding tree-lined country road in places with few if any street lights.
Further details weren’t immediately available late Sunday night.
