AUBURN – People who are interested in finding out more about L/A Trails are invited to the group’s annual meeting on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Mount Apatite Farm.

People who like to run, hike, bike or just go for a stroll and those who would like to see Lewiston and Auburn have the most comprehensive trail network in Maine would enjoy working with this group, said organizer Mike Lecompte.

The gathering will begin at 3:30 p.m. with a short hike. At 4:30 p.m. appetizers will be served and there will be presentations by several guest speakers, followed by a complimentary dinner, music and a short presentation.

Families and individuals with an interest in trails are welcome. People are being asked to make reservations by Friday, Oct. 15, by calling Mike Lecompte at 777-3724 or sending e-mail to [email protected].
