AUBURN – The city will continue a popular Saturday night movie series tonight at sunset with a free showing of “Toy Story” at Festival Plaza.

Recreation Director Pete Bushway said the city will have a concession stand this year. Movie-goers should bring their own chairs or blankets to sit on.

“Inclement weather will cancel any of the movies on a particular night,” he said. “But last year we only had to cancel one.” The movie series continues each Saturday through August, stopping only for the Great Falls Balloon Festival on Aug. 21. The festival continues July 17 with “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.”

The city’s Friday night music festival in Festival Plaza will continue July 23 with the jazz band Trilogy. Different bands will play beginning at 5 p.m. each Friday through Sept. 3.
