LEWISTON – A 31-year-old city man was being held on $5,000 cash bail Sunday night at the county jail after his arrest on a robbery charge.

Dennis Cribbin, of 80 College St., was arrested at his apartment at 9:58 a.m. Sunday on the single count of robbery.

Police Lt. Tom Avery said the charge stemmed from an alleged strong-arm robbery of a person at 195 Holland St. That incident took place about midnight Saturday.
