LEWISTON – Informed Notaries of Maine, a private organization founded more than 10 years ago to educate notaries in the state, is planning a notary education conference on Thursday, April 22, at Bates College. It will include a full day of workshop sessions.

The day will begin with registration from 8 to 8:25 a.m. and adjourn at 3:30 p.m. Sessions to be offered will include “Creating Wedding Magic”; “Notary Basics 101”; “The Notary’s Role in Elections and Petitions”; “Identification Techniques and Tips”; “Sharing Notary Experiences”; and “Mobile Signing and Notary Law.”
