• Alfredo A. Mata, 29, of North Turner, lost control of his sport utility vehicle, struck a snowbank and flipped the vehicle at 2:25 a.m. Tuesday at Route 4 and Martin Street. The vehicle rolled twice before landing on its wheels, according to a police report. Mata and his two passengers, 24-year-old Arturo Gaza and 17-year-old Guadalupe Gonzalez, were treated for cuts and scrapes suffered in the crash. Mata was charged with driving while intoxicated. Damage to his 1999 Ford Expedition was estimated at $15,000.
