AUBURN – Arnold Woolf of Auburn has been appointed to be a dedimus justice in the state of Maine.

The appointment means Woolf is authorized to administer oaths of office to those individuals who have been elected to public office, as well as to those appointed or commissioned to serve in a public capacity, such as notaries public and court officers.

Woolf was appointed by Gov. John Baldacci and witnessed by Secretary of State Dan Gwadosky.
