Expo 2009 is underway; the date has been set for September 18-19. The Expo committee held a Kick-Off on March 31 focusing on early registration with benefits and a pre-show workshop all in one. Black Mountain was our host sponsor; exhibitors were able to register for their booth space with a deposit of $50 and the balance due in July. By doing early registration the exhibitor was eligible for a drawing of a free standard booth, won by Med-Care Ambulance; an ad in the Sun Journal insert, won by HOPE Association; or $100 off their next years’ Chamber membership, won by Community Energy. It was a win-win situation for the exhibitor. Included in this year’s registration will be a 1×2 or a 1×3 ad in the Sun Journal insert, two reserved parking passes, free entry to the awards social, continental breakfast Saturday morning and light fare and soft drinks in the exhibitors lounge throughout the event.
