The 5th annual Rangeley Oktoberfest Brat & Strudel Contest was held Sept. 27, sponsored by the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce and hosted by The Rangeley Inn and Tavern. Local chefs’ entries were judged by both a panel of experts and votes cast by about 100 attendees.The winners are, from left, Margaret White, Sarge’s Sports Pub, Best Brat by popular vote; Monika Liedl, The Red Onion, Best Brat by judges’ vote; Patrick Friehl, The Shed, Best Strudel by judges’ vote; and Ana Wetherill, Just Desserts, Best Strudel by popular vote.
