FARMINGTON — Everyone’s Resource Depot invites children and adults to attend a workshop to make their own valentines. The workshops will be held from from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Feb. 9 through 12 and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb.

Those who attend will be able to choose from a wide variety of materials such as yarn, ribbon, card stock, red envelopes, glitter, sequins and odd bits of lace and trim. Many sample valentines will be on display to help stimulate creativity. All ages are welcome, and a small fee will be charged to cover materials and instruction.

Everyone’s Resource Depot is located in the Education Center, Room 9, on the University of Maine at Farmington campus, corner of High and Lincoln streets. It is open to the public during regular business hours: from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
