Bank of America Donates $10,000 To Community Concepts, Inc.
Auburn, Maine – The Bank of America recently awarded Community Concepts, Inc. a $10,000 grant to develop an organization wide communications plan. Community Concepts, the local community action agency serving Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford Counties, helps more than 25,000 people every year with many different programs.
“This organizational support from the Bank of America will help Community Concepts develop a comprehensive communications plan that lets us serve our community better,” says Jim Wilkins, Director of Advancement. “The financial resource’s Community Concepts’ receives from the federal and state governments and foundations are usually targeted towards specific services for the community. Supporting grants like this $10,000 from the Bank of America gives us the resources to improve our systems – something that non-profits always need, but don’t have the luxury of doing. Our goal is to make sure that our customers and communities know about all of the many of services and programs we can use to improve the quality of people’s lives throughout Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford.”
During the ceremonial check presentation, Bank of America, Banking Center Manager Roxanne Gorham told Jim Wilkins, “The Bank of America is proud to help Community Concepts with this $10,000 grant. We know the importance of supporting our communities and how critical it is that the organizations that serve our communities have the systems to help people as efficiently as possible.”
