BATH — Studio Theatre of Bath will present Sentimental Journey performing “Nostalgic Musical Memories” on Valentine’s weekend at the Chocolate Church Arts Center.
Sentimental Journey performs music from the 1930s and beyond, done in harmony. The group’s repertoire includes such classics as “Stardust,” “Nearness of You,” “Georgia on My Mind,” “My Funny Valentine,” “Sentimental Journey” and several popular tunes by the Andrews Sisters.
The group, which also performs songs from the 1950s and ’60s, sings a cappella and with the accompaniment of piano and drums.
Vocalists are Ron Bouffard, Sheldon Bird, Jan Crosson, Donna Griffin, Chris Hall, Suzanne Rankin, Beth Saufler and John Strong. Musicians are Courtney Babbidge and Pat Jordan.
“Nostalgic Musical Memories” is directed by Jan Crosson, with musical direction by Babbidge.
Local comedian John Ater will be master of ceremonies.
