SABATTUS — A special town meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at the Sabattus Central School, 40 Ball Park Road.

Residents will be asked to consider appropriating an additional $49,356 from the excise revenue fund to offset the double counting of local roads highway funds from the May 30 annual town meeting.

This meeting will be followed by another special meeting, beginning at 7:30 p.m., of Sabattus, Litchfield and Wales selectmen along with members of the school board, to talk about K-8 reconfiguration and reduction in state aid funding. FMI: 375-4331.
