AUBURN — Mark Prevost will be the speaker at the next meeting of the Auburn Art Club on Monday, Feb. 22.
Prevost will share the wellness philosophy behind the many activities offered at Schooner Estates. He will speak about the way retirement communities enhance the day-to-day experiences in and around a community setting, as well as highlight trips and special events happening throughout the year.
Prevost started working at Schooner Estates in January 1997. He was hired as the activity coordinator for the independent living apartments and was then promoted to resident services director two years later. He is responsible for many of the service programs and activities as well as overall operational continuity.
He is a graduate of the University of Maine system. He resides in Lewiston with his wife, Lisa.
The meeting will be held in the Tenants Harbor Room at Schooner Estates. The hostesses for the meeting will be Shirley Bennett, Joyce Campbell, Elaine McDonough and Edwina Pontbriand.
