1. I am a six-year representative. I feel that my knowledge in dealing with all issues is important.
2. I feel that labor needs to be protected. I will continue to work on labor issues.
3. TABOR sounds like a good idea, but the details take the Legislature out of the fight. We will continue pushing the tax burden on the wage earner. The cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan is becoming astronomical.
4. It is difficult, but we have to try to make each determination fit with whatever law we are enacting. We may not be in entire agreement, but we try.
5. Dirigo is Maine’s attempt to try to get more people health care. The money is slow, but the care is obvious. The federal government is dropping the ball and we have to try.
