GREENE — Donald Bedford and Ron Grant were elected to the Board of Selectmen on Friday, Deputy Town Clerk Sally Hebert announced.

Bedford received 42 votes; Grant, an incumbent, 40. Both terms are for three years.

Diana Morgan was re-elected to the school board with 44 votes.

Hebert said only 50 people cast ballots from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The annual town meeting gets under way at 9 a.m. at Greene Central School for action on the remaining articles in the 62-item warrant.
