LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Seniors met on March 8 at Murray Hall with 26 members in attendance.
The secretary’s report was read and accepted. Shirley Toncer is out of the hospital and is at her daughter’s.
Members were saddened to hear of the passing of Marguerite Dufour. A reminder that the group will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on Monday, March 15. Finger food should be brought in by everyone.
Easter will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 31. Prizes of two Easter baskets will be drawn. They will be supplied by Ellie Mitchell and Aurelien Couture. Whoever wins must refill the basket next year.
The monthly Chinese auction was held after the meeting. Refreshments made by Carmen Moreau and Alice Demoras were served, followed by games, cards and socializing.
