Supper fundraiser

MECHANIC FALLS — Members of the Tyrian Masonic Lodge 73 will host a series of public suppers to support Project Graduation at the Poland Regional High School. The first supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at the lodge, Route 11.

Cost is $7 for adults; $5 for children 6 to 16; free for children 5 and under. For more information, contact Brian Carrier at 795-6953.

AARP meeting

LEWISTON — The Androscoggin Chapter 4077 of AARP will meet at 1:15 p.m. Monday, March 15, at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St. Carole Ressler will speak on filing income taxes. There will be refreshments served after the meeting and everyone is welcome to attend.

The officers will meet prior to the general meeting at 12:30.

Women builders

AUGUSTA — The National Association of Women in Construction will meet on Wednesday, March 17, at the Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. office, 45 Melville St. The board meeting will start at 5:15 p.m., followed by networking at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30.

Darcy Pierce of the MaineLine Haiti Relief Mission will present the program.

Lodge meeting

AUBURN — Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 15, in the recreation room at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home, 85 Caron Lane. The birthday of Schuyler Colfax, the founder of the Rebekah Degree, will be observed. He was born on March 23, 1823. The Rebekah Degree was adopted in 1851.

The noble grand, Pamela Black, will present a St. Patrick’s Day program during the regular meeting at 7 p.m. She asks all attending to wear green if possible. For more information about the Rebekahs, call Esther Tucker at 998-5359.
