The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA recently completed its indoor T-Ball Program. Bates College head baseball coach Edwin Thompson and 10 members of the mens’ team took time to come and work with the kids. The Bates players lead the kids through stretching, warm-ups and throwing, hitting and fielding drills, and Thompson brought some hats to give away to the kids. Following the T-Ball Program, other Bates baseball players came to work with kids registered in the YMCA’s Baseball Hitting and Fielding Program. Members of the Bates team are pictured with the kids.
