LEWISTON — The Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions will offer seven general education courses during its fall session.

Human Anatomy and Physiology I: The four-credit class will begin Sept. 3 and wrap up Dec. 17. Lecture from 2 to 5 p.m. Mondays; laboratory from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays; overflow lab possibly from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays. The first class will be a lecture from 9 a.m. to noon. The instructor will be Kim Emery.

Microbiology: The four-credit class will begin Sept. 2 and conclude on Dec. 16. Laboratory from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; lecture from noon to 2:30 p.m. Thursdays. The instructor will be Kim Emery.

College Writing: The three-credit online course will run from Sept. 1 to Dec. 8. Class time is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays. Mina Matthews will instruct.

Ethics in Health Care: A three-credit course covering case studies and principles of exceptional bedside care. Course will meet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Aug. 31 to Dec. 14. Dale Morrell will instruct.

Phlebotomy: The two-credit course will meet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 7 to Nov. 9. Course instructor will be Michelle Hammond.

Pharmacology Fundamentals: The three-credit online course will run from Sept. 7 to Dec. 17. High-speed Internet access is required. The instructor will be Colleen Dutile.

Introduction To Psychology: The three-credit online course, with some on-campus meetings, will meet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 2 to Dec. 16. Susan Poulin will instruct.
