LEWISTON — Funeral services for Marcel E. Dutil were held May 7, at Holy Cross Church, after prayers at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Maurice Morin, who also recited prayers of committal at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Bearers were Marc Duchette, Nicole Duchette Boulet, Celeste Duchette Long, Alicia Martel and Sarah Martel, all grandchildren of the deceased. At the cemetery, an honor guard from the Maine State National Guard played “taps” and folded and presented an American flag to the widow. After the service, family and friends gathered at the Green Ladle in Lewiston in order to continue the celebration of Marcel’s life.
