“Today’s a good day for ice cream,” was what Tyler Wisniewski’s mother, not pictured, had to say Wednesday of his frequent requests to go to Gifford’s Ice Cream in Farmington. With afternoon temperatures reaching the mid-70s, Wisniewski met some friends there, Sierra, left, and Ariya Steinhouser and their mother, Sheila Gravelle, all of Farmington, who were trying to keep up with the melting sweet treats.
