Alex LePage of New Sharon was awarded a degree cum laude at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass., on May 15. LePage majored in economics and finance with a minor in information technology. While at Bentley, he was a member of the Bentley Falcons soccer team, as well as a lifeguard and a member of the undergraduate judicial board. He studied European finance during a semester abroad in Brussels, Belgium, in the spring of 2009.

He is the son of Gordon and Carole LePage of New Sharon. He graduated from Mt. Blue High school in 2006.
