Class lunch

MEXICO — The Stephens High School Class of 1954 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, at the Covered Wagon Restaurant. All classmates and guests are welcome.

Father’s Day

CARTHAGE — The Carthage Union Church will hold a Father’s Day celebration on Sunday, June 20. There will be a dinner served at 5 p.m. with a service and special music following at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Breakfast

RUMFORD — Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 will sponsor a Father’s Day breakfast from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday, June 20, at the lodge, 60 River St. The menu will consist of breakfast egg souffle, beans, sausage patties, French toast sticks, muffins, juice and coffee. Fathers eat for free and there will be a $3 donation for all others.

Indoor sale

CANTON — An indoor yard and bake sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 19, the Old Canton School. Proceeds will help keep the school open as a museum and library for the town.
